How to Win a Blogging Contest ~ Tips from Kristi Hines, Winner of FIVE Blogging Contests ~ @Kikolani

Kristi Hines

Kristi Hines

I can not encourage every blogger
enough to join in this contest.

There is no time for accomplishing great things like the present – and NOW is the time for you to increase your blogging skills, learn new ways to drive traffic and even earn money, and meet other bloggers who can’t wait to encourage you and support your efforts.

Even if you don’t win anything at all –
you WILL get a TON of benefit out of participating!

PLUS free gifts for ALL participants to grow your own blog!

The odds of winning our non-cash prizes are REALLY HIGH – because only those bloggers who choose to write about each non-cash prize are in the running for winning!  So if only three bloggers write about what you most want there is a one-in-three chance of winning! If ten bloggers write you have a one-in-ten chance of winning.

You won’t find better odds of winning anywhere!

Some of the non-cash prizes are very niche specific and I will be seeking out and bringing on board as many bloggers in each of those niches as possible. What that means for you is that you can meet the best bloggers who are in your niche – and then you and they will all be a more powerful  influence for good in your industry as you learn how to become more influential and get more traffic to all of your blogs!

Meet the best bloggers in your niche or industry.

For those whose goal IS to win the more competitive non-cash prizes or to go after the top cash amounts, I offer this post written by the blogger who has won more of these contests than any other: Kristi Hines.

Kristi is a professional blogger whose writing can be seen on many major sites including KISSmetrics, Social Media Examiner, Search Engine Watch, Crazy Egg, SEOgadget, and SEM Group.

Kristi is now a freelancer who writes professionally –
and she started out like many of you.

Only last year she still had a traditional job – and I believe her success at these types of contests and being a regular contributor on major sites is what enabled her to go out on her own.

If you’ve ever considered making money from your blogging
this contest is a MUST DO!

Kristi has won at least five of these contests and placed in another (according to this post from November 2011 – she may have won or placed in others by now). As Kristi so wisely says,

“When it comes to blogging contests, it’s not about luck.
It’s about content and promotion.”

By participating, you will be learning from Kristi and the many other bloggers whose content we will share with you and who you will meet during the contest.

Who better to get contest winning advice from that Kristi Hines? I can’t think of a soul :) Thanks for the insights.

Gail, I have a question which came up on my latest blog post about Twitter Ads. If any of the contestants took out an ad on Twitter to promote their contest post would that be ok and considered acceptable? I already responded that I thought it might be a great idea but I want to get the official word from you. Please stop by the post (I’ll leave the link in CommentLuv) so that anyone reading it will see your response. Thanks Gail!

I agree with Ileane, Kristi you’re the best and it was such a pleasure having you as part of the Blog Engage contests, in fact you took first place with us as well. How can I say no to such a huge contest, I must submit a killer article and be part of this great event. Best of luck to all the contestants I can’t wait to read your guest posts!
