There has been such overwhelming interest in being a sponsor of the Gushcloud and UBL Small Business Marketing Blog Outreach Blogging Contest that we’re not going to jump right into having you write about and promote the contest.
First we want to introduce you to some tools that will improve your chances of winning AND increase your skills as a blogger.
I will be adding tools you can use to promote your blog and your entry posts to this category a few at a time so you can get up to speed without feeling overwhelmed.

We are here to answer all your questions BEFORE that can happen.
By participating, not only can you win cash and some really cool non-cash prizes – you will increase the traffic to your own blog and learn how to keep on driving and attracting new readers long after this contest is over.
You will also learn how to encourage your new visitors to
become regular readers, subscribers and commenters.
You may have noticed the title of this post started with the number 1. Each post about the contest will start with a sequential number and we’ll link them all in this post. As new posts are published we will add them right here:

How to get assistance:
We want to encourage you to ask for our assistance at any time for anything throughout the contest and beyond:
- If you don’t understand anything in a post, leave a comment in that post.
- For faster assistance contact Gail using Skype – she is the only GrowMap on Skype.
- If you don’t use Skype but have Yahoo messenger, contact Gail there. See her contact tab on GrowMap for her Yahoo IM user info. (If anyone can tell me how to change my Yahoo! Messenger username to growmap that would be highly appreciated. )

For now, please look around this blog, check out the Participants page which you can reach by clicking on the Participants tab. Tabs are found just under the header (the colorful section at the top of a blog where the name of the blog is found).

Bloggers who participate will range from beginners to professionals with years of experience. We ask that the experienced bloggers simply skip over what they know so that we can provide information that newer bloggers may need.
Even experienced bloggers may not know the proper names for various parts of a blog or activities or may have never done many of the things that we will be sharing with you throughout the contest.
We guarantee EVERYONE will learn something.
We learn new things every day.
